Report of Armed Robbery at Lexington Rest Stop

There are reports from services that follow scanner traffic of a possible armed robbery at the rest stop on Route 128 North in Lexington. The rest stop is at exit 30 on the highway. 

The reports state an employee of the rest stop was robbed while taking out the trash. A weapon was implied but not shown and wallets and keys were stolen. The Massachusetts State Police K9 unit is en route to assist. 

The Lexington Police Department stated the reports are unconfirmed and are being investigated.
