Thefts From Business and Construction Site Reported, Spent Shells Found on Ground

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, January 19- 

Police arrested Christopher Capiau, 28, of 3 Royal Circle, Lexington, on an outside warrant.

At 8:52 p.m. police cited a driver on Bedford Street for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Monday, January 20-

At 1:06 a.m. there was a report of a suspicious motor vehicle on Route 128.

At 7:24 a.m. there was a report of larceny from a construction site on Lowell Street. Sometime between Saturday and the time of the call, staging, jacks and wooden planks stolen from construction site. Valued at approximately $2,650.

At 9:04 a.m. there was a report of spent shell casings found on Massachusetts Avenue. The casings were from a 9mm gun. No damage found in the area or issues reported.

At 2:05 p.m. there was a report of larceny of a snow plow on Marrett Road. Business reports snow plow missing from parking lot. Owner called to report it and when police arried he was gone and employees didn’t know about. Police to follow up.

 

Tuesday, January 21-

At 2:01 p.m. a Village Circle caller reported annoying phone calls.

At 4:05 p.m. there was a report of a hit and run accident with property damage on Waltham Street.

 

Wednesday, January 22-

At 7:21 a.m. there was a report of a hit and run accident with property damage on Lowell Street.

At 4:20 p.m. there was a report of a tree down in the roadway on Hartwell Avenue.

 

At 9:27 p.m. police cited a driver on Lowell Street for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
