Truck Hits Overpass, Dumps Backhoe in Lexington
The crash happened on Route 2 Friday afternoon.
A truck pulling a backhoe hit an overpass and dumped the piece of machinery on Route 2 in Lexington Friday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 2:45 p.m. on the westbound side of the highway.
No one was injured, according to State Police.
Traffic was backed up as crews worked to remove the backhoe from the road.
