Two California Women Arrested in Lexington on Prostitution Charges
The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Arrests:
Police arrested David Cannon, 50, of 337 Waltham St., Lexington, on a probation violation.

Police arrested Mayra Gutierrez, 36, of 5734 Fountain Avenue, Los Angeles, CA, on a charge of prostitution.
Police arrested Jessica Quintanar, 32, of 4890 Naples Street, Sand Diego, CA, on a charge of prostitution.

The prostitution arrests came after police found an advertisement on the internet and detective responded to a hotel in town. Police did an undercover operation and placed two female subjects under arrest for prostitution/sex for a fee.

At 12:40 p.m. there was a report of a theft of a catalytic converter on Cranberry Hill Road. Sometime between 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. a converter was stolen off a pickup truck while it was parked.
At 3:59 p.m. there was a report of malicious/wanton destruction of property on Mass. Avenue. a person came to station to report several youths punched his vehicle on the roof causing damage. The youths were known parties. Under investigation.
At 4:07 p.m. there was a report of identity fraud by a Leonard Road caller. The caller said he was notified by their accountant someone had filed a false tax return and opened up a credit card account with his information. The credit card account was used to purchase approximately $1,000 in merchandise online. Occurred in Baltimore area. Advised of options to protect identity.
At 5:39 p.m. there was a report of a hit and run accident with property damage on Bedford Street.
At 6:23 p.m. there was a report of a hit and run accident on Maple Street.
At 6:51 p.m. there was a report of vandalism of a motor vehicle on Main Campus Drive.
At 7:04 p.m. police cited a driver for operating with an expired registration on Woburn Street.
