Unsuccessful Home Break-in, Man Arrested for Driving Without a License

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, September 25- 

Police arrested Eric Santiago, 22, of 921 Parker Street, Jamaica Plain, on charges of operating a motor vehicle without a license, defective equipment and speeding.

At 11:15 a.m. a Muzzey Street caller reported plants stolen from property Someone stole a wooden planter box that was in front of a store valued at $500. Stolen sometime since the previous day.

At 2:29 p.m. a Marrett Road caller reported an erratic driver.

At 3:14 p.m. a North Hancock Street caller reported theft/larceny at Lexington Coin. A male and female entered the store and sold what turned out to be a fake gold chain. The store realized it was a fake after paying $1,600. Case being investigated.

At 5:46 p.m. police found two people with a non criminal amount of marijuana on the bike path in the conservation area. Two subjects cited.

Thursday, September 26-

At 1:22 p.m. there was a motor vehicle stop of a driver with a revoked license on Woburn Street. Vehicle towed and operator cited.

At 3:25 p.m. there was a report of an attempted breaking and entering on Percy Road. Someone attempted to break into a house via a sliding door. No entry gained but there were pry marks on the slider. 

At 9:19 p.m. police stopped a driver operating with a suspended registration.
