All Seven Third Middlesex Candidates Expected at LWV Forum

The Concord-Carlisle League of Women Voters is holding a candidates' night for candidates running for the 3rd Middlesex State Senate seat.

 

This Wednesday night, the League of Women Voters of Concord and Carlisle will host a candidates' night for seven state senate hopefuls seeking the 3rd Middlesex seat that .

The event will be held 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the at 1276 Main St., Concord. The event is free and open to the public.

The Democratic candidates are , , , and . Republicans and also plan to attend. 

Howes and Martinez will sit on the first panel of the evening, while the five Democrats will make up the second panel, according to the format explained by the LWV.

Following opening statements, the candidates will answer questions from the LWV and from audience members. Former LWV of Massachusetts President Nancy Carapezza of Wayland will moderate, according to an announcement from the League.

The district is comprised of Bedford, Carlisle, Chelmsford, Concord, Lexington (precincts 3, 8, 9), Lincoln, Sudbury (precincts 1, 4), Waltham and Weston. Wednesday night's forum is sponsored by the LWV of Concord-Carlisle, with the support of the LWVs from around the district, including Lexington and Sudbury, Bedford, Chelmsford, Waltham and Weston.
