Annual Town Meeting Opens March 26 (POLL)

It's that time of year again. Annual Town Meeting convenes at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, March 26, at Cary Hall.

We don't know yet how long the Mondays and Wednesdays meeting will last, but we do know there will be a special Town Meeting April 2 to appropriate , and there will be no Town Meeting held during School Vacation Week, April 16 to 20. It's also expected there will be a date certain for the , and that could be established tomorrow.  

The warrant includes the town and school budgets, requests for Community Preservation Act funding, a new Town Seal, a school transportation proposal that would use town dollars to drive down bus fees, and zoning proposals that would allow significant changes in Lexington Center and the redevelopment of the Dana Home.
