Lexington Patch Election Center - Special State Primary

Get out and vote today.

There is a special state primary to fill now Senator Edward Markey's former Congressional seat Today.

There will be seven Democratic names on the ballot. They are Sen. William Brownsberger, Sen. Katherine Clark, Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian, Martin Long, Paul Maisano, Rep. Carl Sciortino and Sen. Karen Spilka.

The three Republican names on the primary ballot are Frank Addivinola, of Malden, Mike Stoppa, of Holliston, and Tom Tierney of Framingham.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

Here are the poll locations for the different precincts: 

Precinct 1: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue. 

Precinct 2: Bowman School, 9 Philip Road.

Precinct 3: Clarke Middle School, 17 Stedman Road - (Enter of Waltham Street via Brookside Avenue).  

Precinct 4: Bridge School, 55 Middleby Road. 

Precinct 5: Cary Memorial Building, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue. 

Precinct 6: Diamond Middle School, 99 Hancock Street (Enter off Hancock St at  Burlington Street traffic circle). 

Precinct 7: Estabrook School, 117 Grove Street. 

Precinct 8: Samuel Hadley Public Services Building, 201 Bedford Street. 

Precinct 9: Maria Hastings School, 7 Crosby Rd (Massachusetts Avenue near Route 128).
