Lexington Suing Firetruck Company Over 'Lemon'

Problems with a new firetruck has prompted the town to seek legal action.

The Town of Lexington is suing a company that makes firetrucks after a truck purchased by the town has shown to have many issues.

According to a story by Universal Hub, Lexington is suing Ferrara Fire Apparatus, of Louisiana, for $500K to reimburse the town for the 2013 purchase of Engine 2.

The town received the truck in July of this year, as reported on Lexington Patch.

The Universal Hub story states that issues with the truck include steering failures, brake and transmission problems and a water gun going off by itself.
