See which town positions are up for election on the ballot next year.

Get involved with Lexington leadership by getting your name on the ballot and running for office. 

The Lexington Town Clerk has released the information potential candidates need to get started. There are multiple positions that will be up for election during next year's annual town election on March 3. Nomination papers can be picked up in the clerk's office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Offices on the ballot include:

Selectmen – two for terms of three years.

Moderator – one for a term of one year.

School Committee – one for a term of three years.

Planning Board – two for terms of three years.

Lexington Housing Authority – one for a term of five years. 

 

Town Meeting:

Precinct 1 – Seven for 3 years; One for one year.

Precinct 2 – Seven for 3 years; One for one year.

Precinct 3 – Seven for 3 years; One for two years.

Precinct 4 – Seven for 3 years.

Precinct 5 - Seven for 3 years.

Precinct 6 - Seven for 3 years.

Precinct 7 – Seven for 3 years; One for one year.

Precinct 8 - Seven for 3 years.

Precinct 9 – Seven for 3 years; one for one year. 

 

Important Dates: 

Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 - 5 p.m. Deadline to Obtain Blank Nomination Papers: New Candidates - All Offices

Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 - 5 p.m. Deadline to Submit Signed Nomination Papers to Board of Registrars/Town Clerk for Certification

Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014- 5 p.m. Deadline for Candidates to Withdraw
