Making American History Beautiful

SavATree volunteers at Minute Man National Historical Park.

The following was provided by Minute Man National Historical Park

On Monday, July 8, the senior management team from SavATree participated in their annual Volunteer Day and offered their services and expertise to Minute Man National Historical Park. Over twenty members of SavATree’s senior management team undertook projects designed to beautify the park and make it safer and easier to navigate. Pruning was performed on several trees and shrubs to remove dead wood and enhance clearance on walkways. Invasive plants were also removed in order to allow native plants to thrive.  Additional maintenance pruning was performed on privet and Ilex hedges around the park.

“Being able to conduct our annual community service project at this property that is so significant to American history has been an honor for our team.  It’s especially gratifying given the timing of the event and its close proximity to Independence Day” said Daniel van Starrenburg, President of SavATree.
