Photo of the Day: State House, Kaufman Go Red For Women

State Rep. Jay Kaufman, D-Lexington, was among the legislators to participate in a "Go Red for Women" event earlier this month at the State House.

The photo and caption seen here were provided by the American Heart Association.

Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s campaign to raise awareness among women about heart disease, which kills one woman a minute. More women die of heart disease than all forms of cancer combined. Unfortunately, the killer isn’t as easy to see. Heart disease is often silent, hidden and misunderstood.
