Fiske School's 5th Grade Spaghetti Supper a Big Success

Check out pictures from the evening.

The following is a letter from Cathy Sullivan and Songyi Kim, co-chairs for publicity for the Fifth Grade Spaghetti Supper at Fiske Elementary School:

More than 600 staff, family, and friends of the Fiske School Fifth Grade were treated to a delicious spaghetti supper served by fifth graders on Thursday evening January 16th.

Among the guests were Dr. Paul B. Ash, Lexington Superintendent of Schools, and Margaret Coppe, Lexington School Committee Chair. The Fiske gym was transformed into an Italian restaurant as the fifth graders, bedecked in black and white outfits, proudly took orders and served their family members, teachers, and friends.

This much-anticipated event provided the students with an opportunity for team building and bonding before they move on to Diamond Middle School next year. Proceeds will be used to help fund a variety of fifth grade activities.

The Fiske community would like to thank the following organizations for their generosity and help in making this year’s Spaghetti Supper such an enormous success.
