Story times, high school sports and more today in Lexington.
1. : The bookstore in Lexington Center has planned a week's worth of special mid-morning storytimes and fun fairytale crafts during the school vacation week. The first is featuring the Gingerbread Man at 10:30 a.m., today, Tuesday April 17. Tomorrow through Friday will be "The Little Red Hen," "Little Red Riding Hood" and the "Three Little Pigs."
2. Today in High School Sports: School's on vacation, but high school sports aren't. The Lexington High School girls varisty lacrosse squad is in action at 10 a.m. at Arlington High School, followed by girls junior varsity at 11:30 a.m. Boys varsity lacrosse hosts Arlington High at 1 p.m. with junior varisity to follow.
3. Today in Public Meetings: According to the Lexington town webiste, public meetings posted for today include: The Recreation Committee's Lincoln Park Subcommitte at 4:30 p.m. at the ; the Hanscom Field Advisory Submission at 7 p.m. at the Civilian Air Terminal and the Conservation Commission at 7:30 p.m. at the .

4. Lexington Community Education's Spring Catalog: It's now online. Offerings include a six-week seminiar on Walt Whitman, a culinary tour of H-Mart, an introduction to improv comedy and even a Patch Academy. Take a look by clicking here.
