Lexington High SAT Scores Near Top in the State

Where in the top 15 did Lexington High land?

The College Board has released its annual survey of average SAT scores for schools. Boston.com has a slideshow with the top 15 schools. There are a lot of schools you'd expect at the top of the list in Massachusetts, along with a few surprises.

Lexington High School scored very well in the survey. Lexington High came out in second place, just behind first-place school Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science. 

Lexington students had a Critical Reading mean score of 625, a math mean score of 656 and a writing mean score of 622. The total mean score was 1903. 

Other top-performing schools include Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, Newton South and Wellesley. Check out the full slideshow at boston.com.
