According to Boston Magazine, Lexington ranked third for highest overall SAT scores with a total of 1,866. Wellesley topped that category with 1,885.
Lexington also ranked third in the highest percentage of students achieving proficiency (scoring 3-5) on AP exams with a total of 96.1 percent.
Other Lexington statistics reported by the magazine include:
- Graduation rate – 95.9 percent
- Percent going to college – 86.5 percent
- Per pupil expenditures -- $16,358
