Lexington Baseball Heads Into First Round of MIAA Tourney
Lexington heads into tournament play, hoping to take out Waltham.
Sitting at the 12th seed, Lexington boys baseball will take on Waltham on Thursday, May 29, with a game at Waltham at 4 p.m.
Waltham, with a record of 14-7, is the fifth seed in this MIAA Baseball North Division 1 tournament. Lexington has a record of 10-10.
The winner will advance to the quarter finals. Other teams in the tournament include Malden Catholic, Andover and Medford.
Peabody presently sits at the top, with a record of 17-5.
