William Raveis Companies on Newtown Ct.

William Raveis Companies affected by Newtown Tradgedy

From: Bill Raveis Subject: Newtown Tragedy Update To:

This morning at 9:00 am I met with the sales agents and staff from our Newtown branch.  Joining me in that meeting was Kent Hanley, Executive Vice President of CT, Beth Tiberio, Sales Manager of Newtown, Chris Raveis, Executive Vice President and Ryan Raveis, Executive Vice President.  Leading the meeting with our sales force and staff was two grief counselors who helped us assess the emotions that our sales force and staff are going through.  During the hour and half meeting, the counselors were very helpful in letting everyone speak, share their emotions and to guide them on what to expect over the next several months.

One of our sales associates, Sandy Previdi, and her husband, Jeffrey, lost their daughter, Caroline, in the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  I was told that Caroline’s favorite charity was the Toy Chest at St. Rose of Lima Church at 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown CT  06470.  Feel free to send toys to the church in name of Caroline Previdi.  Furthermore, I have been told there are five additional families we have sold houses to that have lost their children at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

After the discussion with the sales agents and staff at the Newtown office, we would encourage our agents and friends to either send toys in the name of Caroline Previdi or to donate to an educational fund which the William Raveis organization will set up and will be called the Sandy Hook Elementary Educational Fund.  The proceeds from this money will help fund future educational needs for Caroline’s brother, Walker, and also the other families that bought homes through the William Raveis organization.

The William Raveis companies will be donating $10 per closing throughout the year of 2013 to start the Sandy Hook Elementary Educational Fund.  We anticipate our donations to exceed $120,000 at the end of 2013.  And by your tax deductible contribution you can help comfort the educational needs of the families that our company has assisted in Newtown.

Please see below for the link to the William Raveis website which will be activated on Tuesday, December 18th to make your contribution.

Sincerely,

William M. Raveis, Jr.
