From inside the track into the night sky, a post-Independence Day fireworks display light up Lexington last night.

The fireworks display came on the third night of the , which occupies for two more nights.

Fireworks may pose a problem for animals, both domestic and wild, who can be terrified by the noise, leading to them running away or hurting themselves on fences or in other ways in an attempt to escape. With proper desensitization training the number of pets gone missed due to fireworks can be reduced. Thanks.
