Looks like a mixed bag of weather this week. According to the National Weather Service we can expect rain on Monday but a high temperature near 48 degrees. Tuesday will be very windy cold with a temperature near 17 degrees and with gusts around 37 miles per hour and windchill values near -3. It will clear mid-week but daytime temperatures will be in the 20s. It will be back up in the 40s this weekend.

Empow Studios is holding a Lego Engineering program at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for students in grades 3-5. "Take your Lego building to the next level," the event post states. "Lego swing rides, golf-putters, and swamp boats are just a few of the awesome projects for students to build as they learn about the principles of construction and engineering. After building the initial project, students can modify their creations and motorize their devices with hand-powered generators or direct drives. LEGO models will not be taken home but photos from the class will be available for download.

4) Garden presentation

Learn about the rich history and hidden horticultural secrets from its creation, through four generations of the Adams family ownership, and up to the present day. Click here for more information.
