1. Jumpin' Juba Jams
Where/When: Visitors Center, 1875 Mass Ave., Lexington; 6:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 23 
Why Go: For the boogie-woogie and New Orleans roots sounds of Jumpin' Juba will take over the Visitors Center lawn as part of the weekly Lexington Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert series.

2. Imagination Festival
Where/When: The Learning Experience, 130 Baker Ave. Extension, Concord; 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24
Why Go: Because it's an Imagination Festival featuring art, music, sports, food, games and more at the Learning Experience.

3. If These Walls Could Speak
Where/When: Jacob Whittemore House, 258-298 North Great Road, Lincoln; 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25
Why Go: For a window into the past at one of the lesser known Revolutionary-era homes at Minute Man National Historical Park. From the event description: "Trace how Jacob Whittemore's family grew and changed, using original documents and the very house they lived in. What you find may surprise you."
