Led by music director Jonathan McPhee, Lexington Symphony provides Lexington and its surrounding communities with six concerts a year. Maintaining a grass-roots community spirit, Lexington Symphony performs at Cary Hall, an 800 seat venue. The Lexington Symphony was founded in 1955 by conductor Hisao Watanabe, professional musicians and a group of supporters.
