Went there after a nice lunch across the street. Had the Cookie Dough with jimmies (sprinkles). The ice cream was so fresh. The place was very clean, and the staff was very helpful. I love ice cream and this was one of the best places to enjoy ice cream in the state. Prices are reasonable and the flavors are too many to list. Great place for the family, a date, or even a break from work.

Rancatore's Ice Cream is located at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Waltham Street in the middle of Lexington Center. This location has been in business for over six years. This "old fashion" ice cream parlor is a very popular local hang out for both kids and adults. It offers fresh ice and yogurt made on the premises. The selection of flavors changes daily. Service is quick and the staff is very friendly. Ice cream cakes are also available, but you must order them in advance. "Rancs" as its known to the locals, is open seven days a week and late in the evening.
