Board of Appeals

Board of Appeals has five full-time members and six associate members appointed by the Board of Selectmen. The full-time members serve a term of five years each and an associate member serves for one year. The board meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. Under the Zoning By-Law, the board issues special permits for the use of property and grants variances, as well as hears appeals from decisions of the building commissioner.
