UPDATE: Two-Alarm Fire Knocked Down at Seaborn Place

Blaze had reportedly engulfed a three-car garage.

According to public safety officials, the two-alarm fire at Seaborn Place has been knocked down.The blaze had at one point engulfed a three-bay garage at the condominium complex, causing the evacuation of nearby housing units. Originally posted at 9:30 p.m. Firefighters in Lexington are responding Monday night to a two-alarm fire that has reportedly engulfed a three-bay garage at Seaborn Place. According to Lexington Police Lt. Chris Barry, the fire, as of 9:20 p.m. Monday, was in a detached garage in a condominium complex on Seaborn Place, off East Street in Lexington. Cause of Death Issued for Tamerlan Tsarnaev

Suspected Boston Marathon bomber's death caused by gunshot wounds, being run over by car.

  The death of accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been ruled a homicide, according to a WCVB-TV report. Tsarnaev's death was caused by gunshot wounds from police bullets and being run over by a car, according ot the report. Tsarnaev, 26, was pronounced dead at Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center in Boston at 1:35 a.m. on Friday, April 19. Specifically, Tsarnaev sustained gunshot wounds to his torso and "extreme" blunt trauma to his head and torso, WCVB reported. Police have said Tsarnaev was run over by his brother, Dzhokar, during a shootout with police in Watertown. Boston Police: Three New Bombing Suspects in Custody

Officials stress there is no threat to the public, details still emerging.

Boston Police announced a major new development in the Boston Marathon bombing case Wednesday morning. According to the department, there are three new suspects in custody. Boston Police tweeted the news just after 11 a.m. Wednesday. There were no further details, though the police said they would offer more information soon. There is no additional information being released at the moment. BPD said additional details will be provided when they become available.  Police stressed there was no immediate threat to the public. FBI: Three Classmates Destroyed Bombing Evidence to Help Friend

The Dartmouth men joked with Tsarnaev about his resemblance to the FBI suspect photos, then “freaked out” when they concluded it was really him.

Federal law officials believe three classmates of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev destroyed evidence in Darmouth while the suspected bombing brothers fought police in a gunfight in Watertown. In a complaint filed in federal court Wednesday, special agent Scott Cieplik claims suspect Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov destroyed or concealed a laptop and backpack filled with fireworks. Third suspect Robel Phillipos, meanwhile, is being charged with lying to federal officials. According to the complaint, the April 18 night started when Kadyrbayev texted Tsarnaev, needling his friend about his resemblance to the FBI photos released earlier that day. Lexington METCO Students Transported to Hospital After School Bus Crash

All injuries were reported to be minor after bus accident this morning in Newton.

Updated 9:35 a.m. Several students were transported to area hospitals Tuesday morning after a minor school bus crash at the intersection of Route 9 and Woodcliff Road in Newton.  Eleven people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, according to Newton Fire Lt. Eric Fricke. However, every student on the bus was transported to the hospital as a precaution.  The Newton Superintendent's Office confirmed this morning that the bus involved with the accident was not a Newton bus. The Newton Fire Department reported via Twitter this morning that the bus was headed to Lexington. According to the Massachusetts State Police, the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and involved a METCO bus carrying 34 junior high school students. A …

Middlesex County prosecutors are working with federal officials in an effort to build a murder case against 19-year-old Boston Marathon bombings suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in the shooting death of MIT Police Officer Sean Collier on the Cambridge campus April 18, reports Boston.com. A spokeswoman for the Middlesex County District Attorney's office told Boston.com investigators believe they will have sufficient evidence to prosecute Tsarnaev for Collier's murder and should be determining the exact charges soon. About 15,000 seats were set up at Briggs Field on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Wednesday for a memorial to fallen MIT Officer Sean Collier.
