New Generation Martial Arts opened its doors in 1996 and has been teaching Karate Dojo to interested patrons everMore since. The school is operated by Colleen Lemay, a Sixth Degree Black Belt with over 25 years of experience. She became a member of Professor Nick Cerio's International Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 1991. New Generation Martial Arts offers Karate classes for several different levels ranging, from "Little Dragons" (age 4 - 7) up through teens and adults.

New Generation Martial Arts is located on Bedford St., near Rt 129/95.

Minuteman Bikeway
Meriam St & Depot Pl, Lexington, MA 02420

Built in 1992 by the State of Massachusetts on an inactive railroad line, the Minuteman Bikeway travels from BedfordMore through Lexington and Arlington, before connecting to the Alewife MBTA station in Cambridge.

The 11-mile bikeway, which is managed and maintained by the four communities through which it passes, is 12 feet wide and paved asphalt on the entire route. Bicycling, walking, jogging, in-line skating, cross-country skiing are allowed; no motorized vehicles are allowed except for powered wheelchairs. The bikeway is plowed during the winter in Arlington and Lexington.

In Lexington, the Bikeway is overseen by the Lexington Bicycle Advisory Committee, via the Board of Selectmen's Office. In 2008,  the Minuteman Bikeway inducted into Rail-Trail Hall of Fame.
