Husband Calls Annie Dookhan a ‘Liar’

New details have emerged in the ongoing Hinton Drug Lab crisis.

  While disgraced state lab chemist Annie Dookhan was in court today, The Boston Globe unearthed new details in the state drug lab saga including a plea by her husband to not trust her. Surren Dookhan, Annie Dookhan’s husband, sent a text message to George Papachristos, former Norfolk Count assistant district attorney and a noted friend of Annie Dookhan, calling her a liar, according to The Boston Globe. According to the Globe: “This is Annie’s husband do not believe her, she’s a liar, she’s always lying,” Surren Dookhan texted to the prosecutor, according to an interview Papachristos gave to State Police on Oct. 3, 2012. “She is looking for sympathy and attention.” The Globe also reports Annie Dookhan was caught removing 90 drug samples …

Court Reviews Coming For Middlesex Drug Cases Linked to Dookhan, JP Lab

Drug cases from Lexington could be included in the series of reviews.

Special court sessions for Middlesex County defendants whose cases are possibly liked to disgraced state leb chemist Annie Dookhan are scheduled to start on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the Lowell Sun.  The sessions are being held to review cases that may have been tainted by Dookhan, who is facing charges for falsifying lab test results in criminal cases involving drugs, according to the newspaper. Dookhan worked at the now-closed William A. Hinton State Labratory Institute. It's not clear whether any Lexington cases are included. The Middlesex County District Attorney's Office is not releasing defendants names, according to the paper. The DA's office said it used the lab from 2003 - 2009, according to the paper.
