This Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens will take on the San Francisco 49ers for Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans. But chances are, you won't be taking a trip down south to see the game in person. So go with the next best thing: Watching it on big-screen TVs with good food and good company in and around Lexington. The 47th Super Bowl's kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on CBS. If you're a New England fan, you still might be shaking your head following the Patriots loss Sunday to the Baltimore Ravens in the American Football Conference championship game. With the win, the Ravens advance to Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 and take on the National Football Conference champ San Francisco 49ers. A limited number of tickets to the Jan. 20 AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Jan. 17.
For the ninth time in 20 playoff appearances, the New England Patriots are just one game from advancing to the Super Bowl. That game will be played at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. against the Baltimore Ravens. It's the second consecutive season the Patriots and Ravens will meet in the AFC Championship game, with the Pats topping the Birds 23-20 in last year's matchup to punch their ticket to Super Bowl XLVI.
