Lexington Police responded to reports of outdoor gatherings last weekend.
It’s that time of year again, when warmer weather compels people to move their celebrations outside. Last weekend in Lexington, police saw some of the first signs of outdoor drinking and partying among teens and those who are of age to imbibe. Around 9:30 p.m., Saturday, April 30, police responded to Hartwell Avenue and found a pair of Bedford teens with alcoholic beverages, marijuana and the remnants of a fire. The discovery came after the manager from Waxy O’Connors reported several vehicles parked in their lot and people in the wooded area across the street.
