Senate Candidate Bob Massie talked to town officials and members of the Lexington Democratic Town Committee Wednesday night at Cary Memorial Library. Despite competing with President Obama's event in Boston, there was a good turnout for the event. Massie seemed passionate and worldly as he spoke, commenting on his award-winning book and his many health challenges (which gave him opportunity to read every biography about a US President). Massie, a Democratic challenger to US Senator Scott Brown, will address the Democratic Town Committee tomorrow, May 18.
Bob Massie, the first Democrat to step forward as a challenger for the U.S. Senate seat occupied by Republican Scott Brown, will be in town tomorrow to meet with local media and local Dems. At 7 p.m., the former Lt. Governor candidate from Somerville will address the Lexington Democratic Town Committee at the Cary Memorial Library. According to a media release, Massie built a career as a minister, activist, candidate and non-profit executive.
