Lexington Boys' Hoops Team Falls at Watertown, 68-51

The Minutemen could not keep up with the Raiders' hot shooting. Lexington dropped to 2-2 on the season.

Watertown's hot shooting early in the game put the Lexington boys' basketball team behind early, Thursday night, and the Minutemen could not keep pace in the 68-51 loss. Lexington (2-2) struck first, with a three pointer by Lyle Morrison, but Watertown senior Cory Donahue hit two threes of his own, as part of his 17 points on the night. Junior Pat Burns led the Minutemen with 15 points, followed by Morrison, who had 9 points. Watertown coach Steve Harrington said, coming into the game he was worried by Lexington's big men, including Burns, senior Demitri Monovoukas and senior Matt Sharma.
