Last night in Lawrence, the No. 11 seeded Minutemen held on for a 51-50 win over No. 2 Acton-Boxboro to earn a spot in tomorrow night’s Division 1 North final at the Tsongas Center in Lowell. There they’ll face No. 5 Charlestown after the Townies topped No. 1 Central Catholic 54-47 last night in Reading. The Minutemen raced out to an early lead against A-B on Thursday night, taking a 27-16 advantage into halftime, but the Colonials cut it to a 35-33 deficit after the third quarter, according to the Lowell Sun.
