A glimpse into the busy life of one of Lexington's newest principals, working in one of Lexington's biggest schools.
Lexington has three new principals this year. Anne Carothers at Diamond Middle School, Meg Colella at Bridge Elementary School... and Thomas Martellone at Fiske Elementary School. Martellone, who is originally from Boston, returned to the area from Maine, where he had been principal at another elementary school. An avid golfer, snowboarder and gardener, Fiske's new principal is filling the hallways with his enthusiasm and energy for his job, while still finding time to have fun. (Although he confesses, there are not enough hours in the day to do everything he wants to do.) Here is slideshow of photos from a day in the life of an elementary school principal.
