More Good News for Vistaprint's Possible Lexington Expansion

Already supported by the town’s TIF approval, the Vistaprint expansion project was one of 17 approved for participation in the state Economic Assistance Coordinating Council’s Economic Development Incentive Program.

  More good news for Vistaprint as the international company considers expanding its Lexington operation. Earlier this month, the state’s Economic Assistance Coordinating Council approved the project – which would expand Vistaprint’s North American headquarters at the Ledgemont campus on Hayden Avenue in Lexington – for participation in its Economic Development Incentive Program. That approval would mean  $360,000 in EDIP investment tax credits for the project, according to a press release. Prior to that news from the state, a special Town Meeting here in Lexington approved a tax increment financing agreement that would provide 13 years of tax relief for the company. Road Work Begins at Spring Street and Hayden Ave

Traffic signal construction began the week of June 10 and is scheduled to continue through September.

The Department of Public Works' Engineering Division last week announced it began traffic signal construciton at the intersection of Hayden Avenue and Spring Street. Work began the week of June 10 and is scheduled to continue through September, according to a release from the Engineering Division.  "There will be no reduction in travel lanes or detours; however there will be delays so please seek alternative routes if possible," the release said.
