Monday, Dec. 31 11:33 a.m. – Police responded to a reported hit-and-run accident on Mass Ave. 1:38 p.m. – Police responded to a report of youths throwing ice and snow in the area of Lowell Street and Whipple Road. 10:46 p.m. – A fireworks complaint came in from the area of Clarke Street and Park Drive. Tuesday, Jan. 1 12:45 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a large house party on Grimes Road. Officers arrived to find cars leaving the area, and beer cans and plastic cups strewn about the street. Upon entering the home, officers found the house trashed and largely empty, the police report said, noting there was a woman inside yelling at a heavily intoxicated teenaged girl, who was later transported to the hospital.
