UPDATE: Officials say Family in I-95 Car Crash from Lexington
The family of four injured today on I-95 in Walpole reportedly is from Lexington — and the story is dramatic.
Update 10:15 p.m. The 15-month-old boy injuried in Saturday afternoon's accident is listed in serious condition at Children's Hospital Boston, according to WHDH. That is an improvement from his earlier critical condition. According to WHDH, a Lexington family of four was traveling south on I-95 in Walpole when their 2007 Honda Accord went off the road. The identities of those in the car have not been released, but WHDH is reporting it was a 36-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman, a 5-year-old boy and the 15-month-old. The accident remains under investigation, WHDH reported, but authorities are looking into whether the wintry weather could have been a factor.
