PHOTOS: ACA New England Honors Tatelman's at Camp Champions Event
The Lexington-based American Camp Association New England honored Eliot and June Tatelman for founding and running a summer camp for children with HIV/Aids.
At its first Camp Champions Award Event at the State Street Pavillion at Fenway Park, the Lexington-based American Camp Association New England honored Eliot and June Tatelman for their founding and running of Camp Miracles and Magic, a summer camp for children with HIV/AIDS. The Tatelmans, most widely known as the family behind Jordan's Furniture, were honored at ACA New England's Nov. 2 event to benefit the organizaton's Campership Program, which makes "summer camp experiences possible for New England’s most at-risk youth."
