Festival Night to Light Up Tree and Town Alike

Santa Claus and local authors are coming to town this Friday, while Mass Ave merchants will stay open late and the Lexington Symphony will perform a pair of Holiday Pops concerts.

The holiday season kicks it into high gear this Friday, Nov. 30 when Lexington Center comes alive with the Chamer of Commerce's annual Festival Night and other holiday-themed activities. Carolers will stroll the streets and indoor musicians will take up instruments at featured locations. Santa Claus will come to town for a holiday tree-lighting ceremony at Depot Square, which begins at 6:30 p.m. with the sounds of the Master Singers of Lexington. Participating merchants around Lexington Center will offer special prices, discounts, promotional gifts and raffles.
