Kids who attended a recent free Kids Cooking Green workshop at the Lexington Farmers’ Market got a taste of summer and a lot of great information about fun and healthy eating. Kids also got a chance to talk to farmers about raising food locally and bringing it to a farmers’ market. Kids then mixed together a local fresh fruit smoothie …

Bacon-scented candles? You betcha.
The Lexington Farmers' Market has it all: food, drink, and produce from all over the Boston area. But with so many vendors out there, it can get hard to keep track. Luckily, we're here to help, with our seasonal feature "Get to Know a Vendor." Every so often through the end of the LFM's season, we'll profile a vendor bringing something interesting to market. Be sure to let us know your thoughts or suggestions in the comments, and maybe your favorite vendor will be our next subject. Name: Kittredge Candles What they sell: Highly scented soy candles, soaps and lotions Website: facebook.com/pages/Kittredge-Candles/136265525939 or etsy.com/shop/kittredgecandles The Scoop: This Andover-based came to be after Jennifer Hickman was laid off from …
