Sustainable Lexington and Next Step Living Offer Home Energy Assessments

'Better Buildings' program aims to help residents lower energy bills and greenhouse gas emissions.

The following announcement was provided by Sustainable Lexington and Next Step Living. When it comes to reducing energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, Lexington residents are beginning to do their part. Sustainable Lexington is proud to announce that, through its partnership with energy efficiency leader Next Step Living, nearly 450 Lexington households have received no-cost Mass Save home energy assessments and over 140 homes have received significant weatherization improvements that decrease heating costs and increase comfort level. “We’re happy to see that Lexington residents are lowering greenhouse gas emissions, experiencing significant savings, and improving their home’s resale value by insulating and sealing air leaks,” said Rick…
