Summer road construction is an inevitable part of living in New England, but that doesn't mean it still can't be frusturating and inconvenient. With all the road work in and around Marrett Square (the intersection of Waltham Street and Marrett Road), we want to know: Have you been avoiding Marrett Square? Do you seek alternate routes or go to different businesses or gas stations due to the construction? Do you usually go to that Dunkin' Donuts, but now go to one of Lexington's other five? Or if you're a nearby resident, say on Prospect Hill or Kendall Road, have you seen an increase in traffic?

I am still going through the intersection of Marrett Rd and Waltham St, especially to patronize Bruegger's bagels. During rush hour I avoid that intersection and take Hayden Ave to Spring or Shade Streets to avoid the traffic when going home.
