Road Paving Today: Resurfacing work is scheduled for today on Lincoln Street between Lincoln Field and Worthen Road, and Audubon Road, Hastings Road, Frances Road, a small portion of Winthrop Street. Those roads will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. today for the work that was originally scheduled for yesterday, Aug. 28, but was rained out due to morning showers. 2. Getting over Irene and back to business as usual today in Lexington.
1. For folks still reeling from the effects of Hurricane Irene, the town website is a solid starting point for information on mitigating the impact of the storm, including a list of tips provided by the Health Division. 2. The Board of Selectmen get back to business tonight, with a meeting at 7 p.m. tonight at the Town Office Building.
