10-Year-Old Piano Prodigy to Perform at NAMM Show Tomorrow
Lily Hoyt, a student at Yamaha Music School in Lexington, was one of three young composers chosen to perform at the largest musical instrument trade show in North America. Lily will perform her original piano solo composition, 'The Spirit of the Lights.
The following was provided on behalf of the Yamaha Music Schools. The Yamaha Music Education System will present its captivating Junior Original Concert (JOC) on Thursday, Jan. 24. The young musicians will perform at 1 p.m. at the Marquis Ballroom at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. All NAMM attendees are invited to enjoy the free concert event, which will feature outstanding Yamaha Music School students performing their own original compositions. Among the performers will be 10-year-old Lily Hoyt, a student at Yamaha Music School of Boston in Lexington, who will perform her original piano solo composition, The Spirit of the Lights.
