Police Log: Drug Problems, Vehicular Vandalism and More

Thursday, April 4 3:33 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Marrett Road and Malt Lane, Gabriella N. Noveck, 19, of 26 Locust Ave., Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs, operating without a license, possession of a Class B substance (Ritalin) and possession of a Class C substance (Klonopin).  She was also civilly cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. 11:03 a.m. –Mark N Sullivan, 52, of 6 Ellison Road, was arrested on four outside warrants for uttering false name in Woburn, false name in Somerville, and receiving stolen property in Somerville and Malden.   Not a Good Place to Get Caught Napping  A Waltham man was caught napping; unfortunately, it was behind the wheel of a car in the middle of a Watertown roadway. A Watertown Police officer woke the man up and detected a strong odor of alcohol. Monday, March 25 8:22 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Route 2 and Waltham Street. 6:26 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident in the area of Bedford Street and Worthen Road. 9:04 p.m. – A runaway was reported on Pelham Road. Tuesday, March 26 10:21 a.m. –A Judges Road resident reported her ex-husband had been using her vehicle for two days and had not returned it. Police told the woman this was not a case of unauthorized use since the man is registered owner of the vehicle he was using. 10:32 a.m. – A Wood Street resident reported receiving threatening emails from a co-worker. As a result of the investigation, police determined there were no threats, but the emails …

On the Mooove A lawn statue was reportedly stolen on March 13 from Reed Street in Lexington. According to the incident report, the item reported missing was an antique iron cow skeleton valued at $400. http://patch.com/A-2MF0 Good Thing the Dog Needed to Go Out A Wayland dog walker arrived at her client's Main Street home Monday, March 18, to find a strange pickup truck in the driveway and an unknown man in the client's home. Police say the dog walker spoke with the man, assuming he was supposed to be there, but also aware that he was "trying to get her out of the house quickly," police said. That afternoon the homeowner discovered that a water jug containing $500 or more of loose change was missing and two basement windows had been broken…

Monday, March 18 8:54 a.m. – Police responded to a report of about 100 feet of copper wire stolen from a construction site on Woodcliffe Road. 12:08 p.m. – A Cottage Street resident reported that, about a week earlier, she noticed a hole cut in a first-floor window screen. No entry was gained, the incident report said.   4:35 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an attempted fraud on Meriam Street. 8:05 p.m. – As a result of an investigation into online advertisements for a transgender prostitute working out of a Bedford Street hotel, Kawann K Cole, 25, of 852 Hewitt Place, Bronx, NY, was arrested and charged with prostitution.
