Police Log: A Few Arrests, Several Vehicles Vandalized

The following information from March 16 to March 18 was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest not indicate a conviction.

Friday, March 16 12:33 a.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop at Bedford Street and Route 128/95, Tracy I Chang, 24, of 182 Grant St., Lexington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, marked lanes violation and speeding. 7:57 a.m. – A complaint came in regarding school buses parking on Lincoln Street. 2:09 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident with property damage was reported in a municipal lot. 4:42 p.m. – Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout on Bedford Street. 10:22 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a report of youths in a church parking lot on Mass Ave, but they kids were gone on arrival. Police Log: Idling, Accidents and Arrests for Alleged Domestic A-and-B

The following information from March 9 to March 11 was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest not indicate a conviction.

This story was amended Aug. 8, 2012, after charges were dropped. Friday, March 9 6:08 a.m. – An idling complaint came in from Wachusett Drive. 8:43 a.m. – Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident on Hartwell Avenue. 9:21 a.m. – Police responded to Waltham Street for a report of a possibly impaired operator. Roger Henri, 69, of 30 Fourth St., Leominster, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (second offense), driving with an open alcoholic container and seatbelt violations. According to the police report, a call came in reporting a man, later identified as Henri, appeared to be impaired while purchasing coffees as Dunkin’ Donuts on his way to a job site. Police Logs: Bowker Street Brawl and A Man Popped for Pills

Friday, Feb. 24 7:23 a.m. – A Hamilton Road resident reported finding a jewelry box and plastic storage container with costume jewelry in the yard. 9:39 a.m. – A LexMedia employee reported receiving emailed threats from a former volunteer.   8:08 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported on Washington Street. 10:45 p.m. – Following an investigation by police detectives, Brian J. DeCola, 20, of 15 Willard St., Waltham, was charged with possession of Class B (oxycodone) with intent to distribute and violation of a drug-free school zone (Bright Horizons). Police Log: Domestic Disturbances, OUI Arrests and A Discarded Christmas Tree

Friday, Dec. 23 12:12 a.m. – A Lexington Ridge Drive resident reported her 17-year-old son was overdue. Police checked the area but could not locate him. 5:23 a.m. – Officers investigated a motor vehicle accident at Clarke and Forest streets. 9:49 a.m. – A Countryside Village resident reported a threatening note was left on her door sometime in the morning. Written on a piece of paper were the words “You Die.”  Police are investigating. 11:26 a.m. – A Kendall Road resident reported a package that was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 8 was stolen. Friday, Dec. 2 8:39 a.m. – A parking complaint came in about a truck parked on the corner of Robbins Road and Lexington Avenue. 10:20 a.m. – Officers responded to Judges Road to assist getting a student to school. 10:52 a.m. – A cruiser checked out a homeless camp at Route 2 and Waltham Street. 1:30 p.m. – As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Bedford Street, Donna A. Friday, Oct. 7 6:06 a.m. – A complaint came in about a barking dog at Minola Road and Bloomfield Street. 10:10 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a suspicious male videotaping in a backyard on Lowell Street. According to the police report, it was a contractor taking video of siding before making repairs.   10:25 p.m. – A cruiser checked out a motor vehicle left in a lot on Maple Street. Saturday, Oct. 8 3:40 a.m. – A Dewey Road resident reported hearing people at the end of his driveway and thought they might be looking into cars. Gary Vincent, 26, of 78 Royal Road, Brockton, was arrested on a default warrant out of Waltham District Court for driving with a suspended license and without insurance. 11:36 a.m. – A Follen Road resident reported a breaking and entering through a forced-open front door. 1:44 p.m. – A Hamilton Road resident reported confronting a suspicious person walking through her back yard.
