With just days remaining for residents to declare candidacy to represent their precincts as Town Meeting members, five of Lexington’s nine precincts still have more positions available than candidates, according to Town Clerk Donna Hooper. Residents interested in seeking election to Town Meeting have until 5 p.m. this Friday, Jan. 11 to obtain nomination papers.
