Powerball results were watched closely Wednesday when the jackpot was $363 million. After no one picked all six winning numbers, the new Powerball prize for the Saturday, May 19 drawing is now $550 million. The one-time cash payout is estimated at $350.1 million. Tickets are $2 and the game is played in Massachusetts and 42 other states, including Florida, Texas, California and New York. Dec. 12, 2012 was more than a once-in-a-lifetime date, it was indeed a lucky day for co-workers Reginald LeBlanc of Lexington and Rosa DeLeon of Arlington who reportedly are set to split a $50 million Powerball prize. LeBlanc and DeLeon purchased a ticket yesterday at the Lexington Shell station on Waltham Street that matched all six-numbers drawn last night, according to the Mass Lottery website and the organization’s Twitter feed. The winning numbers were 08-10-25-36-44, Power Ball 28, the Lottery website said. An official announcement will be made at 1:30 p.m. today at a press conference at lottery headquarters.
