Man Caught Stealing Wallet, Home Break-in With Money, Jewelry and Electronics Stolen

The following information was provided by the Lexington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, September 5- 

At 12:34 a.m. a caller reported a dispute over cab fare on Marrett Road.

At 12:11 p.m. a leaf blower was found at the corner of Mass Avenue and Grant Street.

 At 2:07 p.m. a caller reported a breaking and entering of a truck trailer on Douglas Road. Landscapers noticed male subject in one of their vehicles. A white male tried to flee but the landscapers stopped him and recovered a wallet. Subject fled on foot into Woburn where he was located and he will be summonsed.

At 5:04 p.m. police report a domestic order violation on Marrett Road. The violation occurred earlier in the day. The subject was arrested by Waltham Police and turned it over to Lexington police.

 At 7:54 p.m. a caller reported a breaking and entering and burglary at Courtyard Plaza and Lowell Street. Resident reports coming home and finding their house had been broken into through a window with a screen removed. Breaking and entering happened sometime between 5:45 and 7:45 p.m. Money, jewelry and electronics missing. Under investigation.

Friday, September 6-

At 10:28 p.m. an April Lane caller reported credit card fraud. Resident reports several accounts open including ones at TJ Max, Dicks Sporting Goods and Marshalls. and that $2,600 had been charged on those accounts.

At 11:31 a.m. a Katahdin Drive caller reported larceny of an ATM card and food stamps. Resident reports approximately $838 unauthorized charges, possibly by family member. May be a misunderstanding.

At 11:24 p.m. there was a disturbance on Lexington Ridge Drive.
