Looks like we can expect mostly clear skies this week. According to the National Weather Service most days this week will have either sunny skies or partly sunny skies. Temperatures will start in the high 60s early in the week, rise to around 80 by Thursday and then drop back into the mid to low 70s for Friday and the weekend. Nighttime temperatures in the high 40s to mid 50s this week.

2) Public meetings

The Board of Appeals is meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday in the Town Office Building, Reed Room (111). The Historic Districts Commission is meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Town Office Building, Selectmen's Meeting Room. Click here for a full list of meetings and their agendas

3) Craft beer tasting on Thursday

Every Thursday night, Berman's Wine and Spirits hosts a craft beer tasting led by beer manager, Jay. Each week he picks a few of his favorite beers-- new, old, and classic-- and shares them with you. Stop by between 5 and 7 p.m. to sample some craft beers. Free and open to the public (with proper ID).

4) A Walk in the Landlocked Forest

There will be a walk starting at 9:30 a.m. in the Landlocked Forest. Take a loop through the Landlocked Forest for an hour or so, looking at foliage and late blooming plants. You may also see various sorts of wildlife or signs that they've passed by.

Meet at the parking area on Turning Mill Road, across the street from Mountain Road. Inclement weather will cancel the walk.
